What Not to Obsess Over
Whoop's sleep stage estimates have roughly 60–80% accuracy compared to polysomnography. Don't make decisions based on one night's deep sleep number. Look at weekly trends instead. A single night where Whoop says you got 45 minutes of deep sleep might be a measurement artifact. A week averaging 45 minutes is a signal worth acting on.
